Well, when I first started learning HTML (which isn't very long ago), I found some tutorials confusing. I hope that this page makes it easy to understand!

For those of you who don't know anything about Web Authoring, here's an introduction.

So you're surfing the web and you say to yourself, "Boy, I wish that I could make pages!" Well, you can.

All pages are made with HTML (Hyper Text Markup Language). HTML is made up of tags. You can view the HTML of any webpage by right clicking on the page and then selecting "View Source". Try it now. If you get confused by looking at it, don't worry, I did too. Once you know what it means, it won't be confusing.

There are many HTML editors around such as Homesite and Lightning. You can also use a WYSIWYG (What You See Is What You Get) edito like Front Page from Microsoft. If you don't want to get an editor you can always use Notepad. If you do remember to save your HTML file with .html or .html (Windows 3.x) at the end.

On the left you can see the navigation buttons. I've tried to make this as easy as possible. I will updating this page as often as possible so please come back, I just started this page and school's starting so I don't yet have everything up and working. Don't forget to sign the guestbook!
